My nephew's birthday is coming up, and he has been wanting a High end paintball gun. I found a pretty cheap marker called the Evil Omen. Would it be a good choice??/

btw money is not really a problem here, but I would like to spend less than 1000. I want Quality.

Blah dont get an omen, there decent guns but heavy cap is at 15bps too I think... ive shot 1, wasnt to impressed.

if you have a 1000$ limit there is better guns.

if you wanna get somthing for 500-600 under get the Ion its the best gun for under 500-600.. im not saying that cause I have 1 or anything wel actualy I am.. and I bought it cause I had 600$ limit myself and couldnt find anythign better..

goto the gun comparison forum and read some of those.

myself if I had 1000$ id probly go for a shocker or wait it out and get the dm5.

I wouldnt say its a high quality gun.. some would say that about the Ion also tho, but I wouldnt say its a POS by any means, it shot good but my Ion blows it out the water and the owner of the Omen said that himself.

for 1000 you could prob get a private lable shocker

well i covered most guns and no i would say dont go with the evil omen..bad quality from what ive seen...i know people that have had them..and they seemed OK,when they were working...

Omen = cheap POS dont buy one. I had one, but still made a double profit off it.

I'd recomend a Shocker. Good solid guns and a decent price.

IF you want to go cheaper, get it's "little brother" the Ion. It's 284.99 and it has beambreak eyes, rebound, 17 bps, efficent bolt kit, etc.

It is his 13th birthday and i want to get him something special. He has been wanting to get into paintball tourneys and still has an eradicator.

i got a gz timmy on ebay for 325 w00t its great works good a few hickups at first but relubed and re fited, and replaced all the o rings purs like new... except she doesnt pur she goes bang but you get the point. used is good if your looking conserve money.

anyways, yeah, if $1000 is your cap then you have LOTS of options, and that options just about double if your willing to do used.

If your looking at imps, DON'T get SP because SP quality sucks... I have never ever met or seen an SP imp that I even remotely liked, even if it worked okay. Look at the EVIL Pimp (same company that makes the omen).

There's tons more options, most of them listed by rivit... I'll get back this and add some more suggestions cuz I don't have the time right now
