What exactly was wrong with the Nerve? It seems nobody has them and SP lost a lot of money on them.

****y gun that is overpriced, the shocker has the nerve board which makes it shoot just as fast as the nerve,

nerv = more expensive shocker+ bigger shocker+ plus same performance of a shocker

Yeah, since the nerve ramping board is now purchasable on the shocker the programing is very similar. Same thing, smaller package

Anyways a nerve is just a bigger, uglier, more expensive shocker, and like everyone else said since its the same board in the shocker and nerve, so theres just about no performance difference..

they delayed the release of it by a LOOOOOONNGGG time, and so it got a ton of hype, but they delayed it so much that when it came out, no one cared anymore.

also, it pulls out the same performance of a shocker except it's heavier, bigger, and more expensive.

it's illogical to buy one

nerve isnt anything special. its wiser to buy a shocker... they have the same exact board and eyes, and yet the shocker is lighter and smaller and simpler. theres no incentive in buying a nerve, besides it being "different"

the problem is SP's killed the nerve themselves by offering the ramping board for the shockers... No body shoots nerves and i wouldn't be surprised is SP's killed them or severely slowed down production on them.

If Smart Parts were actually SMART then people would be paying 300 bucks for an advantage chip to use ramping on a shocker and everyone who wanted ramping would have a nerve.

Maybe Smart Parts should be Dumbass Parts.

Yes, the Nerve ramps. Now you can get stock Shockers with Nerve boards in them.

Nerves were supposed to be able to change the velocity through the trigger frame using electronics, that never happened and now it's a big Shocker.

yes. rebound(smart part's name for ramping) which is like the rebound mode on the ion. but if you can buy a dynasty board which ramps and has break beam eyes and a shocker for much less then the more complicated nerve, why buy the nerve?

my bad. talked to someone who had one and he said he needed to get break beams installed before he used the board...
do any aftermarket boards use break beams? predator?
