New gun
Hey, I've been paintballing for almost a year now with a M98. It's been upgraded a number of times and it's a good gun, but I feel it's time to upgrade to something alil better. I have $300 to buy a new gun and I can't make up my mind. I could get an Ion but I don't really play speedball that much and I don't really want another Tippmann. I could buy a cheap Imagine and put a fiber wrapped tank on it and a new barrel and up that too. That would lead me to Speedball. Or I could buy a woodsball/scenarion type gun, but nothing mil-sim. Or maybe a pump? I have no idea, so just post some over your opinions and help me make my decision. Thanks!

try to find a nitrogen tank first. Then worry about the new better guns. A ion will not like living off co2. A choice could be to buy nitrogen, and perhaps a used cocker of some kind. Try to find a cocker w/ eblade though.

Forgot to mention. I bought a Pirhana as an up from the M98 but all that did was make soup, and recently I bought a B2k with PDS and while I was turning the velocity up it started leaking from the inside and wouldnt shoot. I don't want anything uber high tech but I don't want a gun from the stone age. I know that's gonna be hard, 's why I'm so undecided lol.

it compressses its own air BUT you can only get 500 shots outta it, then you have to charge it for an hour.

that b2k will work great. U just need to make sure the hpr is at like 225-200psi. Or else it will leak.

But as far as the gun, that b2k should be good as soon as you get it goin. But if you dont like that then I think you would like a mag. They are great for woods, and can also be upgraded to perform well in speedball if you ever decide to play that.

most guns over 300 will lead you to speedball, except of course, customized scenario guns.
i wouldnt trade a semi for a pump, just because semis are used everywhere.
but before you get a new marker, try to get a nitro tank

lol I don't have the B2K anymore, sent it back and got my money back, that's how I got the $300. I know it seems dumb but if it breaks out of the box, it'll just break again later on. Yeah, I want a fiber n2 tank and that alone will be like $150 or so so that only leaves me $150 for a new gun, which kinda limits my options to very few things. Or I could just add some stuff to the M98 and run the tank remote?
