If theres a gun in ebay, and the starting bid is 1 dollar, and theres 2 days left, should I go ahead and bid, or does it sound cheezy? by da way that seller has 163 postivie feedback, no negative. What do u guys think?

don't bid with two days left. I hate when people bid when there is a crap load of time left because if no one bid til like he last min (I wait til 15 sec left) the people could get stuff real cheap but no people have to bid and get stuff up to like $150 with a day left. You may think that the one dollar wont matter but chances are he has a lot of watchers at that cheap of a price and when one person bids they know that that person can be trusted and the price will shoot up. So basically no. Wait till it is in like the last 5 min before you start to bid.

yea i know that, i just wanted to no if it sounded cheezy, to sell and timmy for a dollar starting bid, but yea chances are he was a crap load of watchers

Im sure its not cheezy. A lot of people including me will start stuff at 1 dollar because there are those people that like to bid the first day it is put up and will fight with someone for it until the last so sometimes you get more money doing it that way.

i hate when users on ebay have reserve prices. i wish post the starting bid what the **** you want to sell it for instead of messin around with reserves

and also my local guitar shop actually sells his guitars for more money starting them at a dollar instead of their normal price.

They set a low starting bid because the higher the starting bid, the more they have to pay for the seller's fee.

If it were me, I'd be looking at the reserve and go from there. Are you willing to meet the reserve? You can email them and ask what the reserve is. I wouldn't bid till I knew that and the shipping costs are and if they offer shipping insurance.
