WOW, is that gun really worth $1300? Thing is, if you've known him long don't bust his ass man. You're backstabbing him for something he commit and I know it's illegal and s**t, BUT he's still your friend so just talk to him like a friend. Don't view him differently just because he did something stupid. BTW im not supporting anyone here. Just my opinion. Like a few people I know very well. They need to sell drugs to make a friggin living. Just because I don't like it and it's illegal as up to a felony crime doesn't mean Im gonna snitch on them so they get 20+ and get out to hunt my @$$ down ya know. It's the only way to put a hot plate on the table with wife and kids. Make the right choice boy, but 1300 dollars does seem a lot. If someone stole my $1300 paintball gun they're gonna get hunt down like wolves on a deer...!

first thing.. nobody has to sell drugs to make a living.. get a real job....everybody else does... second if he is a low life enough to steal then he would steal from you as well.. i know a lot of theifs and they will steal from anydone.. you did the right thing kid.. one it is just wrong to steal... and some kid probibly saved for months or a year to get that gun and it was his pride and joy. and telling the cops will keep you out of trouble. good job...

well i did talk to him and he shoved it in my face and said its not my problem. Then after an hour he tried to bribe me by saying he'll get me a gun so i said screw it and went home and called the cops...

Got some balls, dude. I think anyone here would have a hard time turning in one of our friends. Then again though, I can't say I've known anyone who's taken something that expensive.
It was right though.
As for myself, I would have probably done the underhanded thing and took it from him somehow and tried to find a way to get it back to wherever it belonged under the table. Unless there was no way to know where it was from, in which case I would probably be right where you are.
