Is it bad to...

Is it bad to dryfire your paintball marker? (Shoot just the CO2 but no balls) I was just wondering, so if you know please reply

no, not really, it doesnt harm your gun much so u can do it as much as u want, but the co2 might make the gun a little cold

ya I was wondering because last night my friend and I were just shootin the air at eachother lol and then I started to wonder if it would be bad or not. But ya thanks for the answer!

It won't hurt the marker, but that was kinda dumb to shoot air at eachother

Remember, a marker is a gun, and a gun is ALWAYS loaded...

its not bad but if ur useing co2 u could just mess up ur orings but that just happens from useing co2 no matter what even if ur shootin balls its especially not bad with nitro. but over all it does no real harm to ur marker

dont see why it would be bad ther is no fireing pin and unlike the bolt on a paintball gun the fire pin can over extend itself.. in a paintball gun it is just a hollowed out bolt and there is only a limited amount of space that the bolt can travel so it would not make any difference if you were shooting paint or just dryfiring... paintballs dont have much of a resistance anyway so it would not matter.
