How often is this done or by say the army? Is there any videos of this?
I think i found one video of it being done in a gym and it looked like it was over in a minute or less.
How do you think the better teams would fair against them in woodsball or speedball.
heh, maybe as part of army training they should teach snap-shooting and learning how to shoot off-handed? would probablly cause alot less casualties...
Why does everyone think that Special Forces teams are going to be good at paintball? They are trained with real guns, that shoot real bullets, that travel at upwards of 2,500+ fps, that can go for half a mile to a mile. They do not understand the concept of only being able to shoot a hundred or so feet, and things like that. They are masters of guns that have real ballistics - not paintball guns. Any professional team would roll over my boys.
in speedball dynasty or even any halfway decent divIII team would roll them, in woodsball it might be a little more interesting but dynasty would still most certainly win.
a lot of cops and people in the armed forces play and a lot of their training is a disadvantage in speedball(ie: extending elbow when shooting)
why dont then use real-life situations and use real firearms with paintrounds... paintball vs real war = ghey paintball cant compare to real war so ppl quit your trash talking. besides when you get hit with a paintball its no big deal thats why paintball players always do daring things... put a real firearm in their hands and tell them to go fight someone trained by the military and see what happens.

ummm... ok?
so paintball is for sissies that are arent daring to use real guns?
Umm i dont know about you but my local police force practices urban combat with paintball guns every so often. also when your in a inclosed area, some tactics still apply.
Also these guys are trained to put their life on the line. The special forces people arent dumb grunts,i bet you could get a decent team out of them. I mean can you say that the dynasty training can even come close to comparing to the teamwork and training special forces endure?
But its two totally different philosophies, principles and tactics. There is a huge difference in how to survive in real combat and survivng on a PB field. They train for real-life operations under a multitude of different scenarios while a PB team trains just for one type of activity.

There was an article in a magazine a couple years back where it had a SWAT team play against some experianced scenerio ballers in a close quaters combat situation. They were playing in like a mock city, where one team would be attackers, one team defend, and for the first couple of games, the paintballers were rolling the SWAT guys, but after adapting to actually playing paintball, thier superior communications and precition of thier movements had them winning every game by the end of the day.

I think if dynasty played against the navy seals that they would win the first couple rounds but once they adapted to the game, like chromekilla said their communication and higher level of team work would make them pwn

wait...are you guys seriouse? You think this SWAT team would come fresh out not knowing how to play?
I'm talking about a team that has played for about a year now, every week or so speedballing it as a group.
You bring them coldifsh and of course they would be in trouble in all regards of the word.
Sorry i didnt make that clear, sometimes i just assume things ;(
Thats still only ina scenerio/woodsball environment.
On a speedball field, military guys wouldnt stand a chance, only after practicing speedball for weeks would they be able to go toe to toe against dynasty.

LoL So what your saying is that the specail forces guys woud only need 2 months and they could beat one of the top teams?
That sounds a lot like they win to me.
I know it's not quite the same but every year the Marines brings out new recruits to play paintball at the local field. Usually they're pretty much cannon fodder, since they are just recruits. It makes for a fun day of paintball though, since a bunch of people out to shoot up so called "marines"
