You don't understand. We are not applauding there "assholism" but there attitude. They(carcus and the other guy) are those who are making the game what it is. They ****ing put there heart and soul into the game. Thats what they are saying.

I play tourneys. There is cheating and bonus balling. Cheating is part of the game(speedball) still not a good image however. Bonus balling is sometimes unavoidable.

what I dislike is overshooting people after their out (kicking em while er down)
and this markus nielson asshole unloading on little kids. Not little kids in tourneys, little kids in church groups playing recball.

I just wanted to let you know that I am very pissed off about the image these players are portraying. It scares noobs, and players look up to pros as role models.

I don't care what kind of image paintball has, as long as it's legal and as long as it's still fun for me. Honestly, don't worry about it. Carkus plays professionally, I honestly don't think that paintball is going to get a bad name from him beating up on pro players doing the same to him. Btw, hes ****ing kidding about the church groups you dumb ass ******. Why the **** would he be playing walk ons instead of practicing with his team? Are you that stupid? Did you even read the interview? Carkus, like I said is one of the most cocky ****ers i've ever seen, and one of the most controversial players in the game, but at the end of the day, hes still ****ing one of the hottest asian *****es I've ever seen.

Lmao, and thats all that really matters. But Oakland is right, this guy is just one example, and no he might not be setting a good example for people, but he's bein himself. There are plenty of other pros who act nothing like him that could be looked to as the image of paintball, not just players like him.

We don't applaud "assholism", this mentality has been around before someone posted articles on it.

The fact is, if you don't go out on the feild with that attitute, the attitude of "**** you all, I'm better than you, and I'm gonna **** you up", you aren't a very good player. Disagree with that all you want, but it's the truth.

I have played football for the last few years, and when I step out on the feild, there isn't a mother****er who gets by me without getting his ass planted. You can't go out on a football feild with a "I'm only playing for fun", attitude, you have to be out there wanting to break the poor bastard that runs into you in half.

Same way with paintball. You go out there with 1 thing on your mind. Winning. You're not about to let someone get in your way. You try everything you can to win that tourny. If that involves shooting someone 15 times, well that sucks for whoever got shot. If that involves having to play on, then that's what it takes.

As soon as I step onto the feild, it's my feild. That's my area. I'm not gonna let anyone walk around freely on my territory. When you step onto my feild, be ready to get ****ed up. If you walk into my lane, you're gonna get balled until you get off the feild and are cowering behind the dead box. When you step of the feild you are gonna know that you were on the feild with me. You can be my best friend, but as soon as I look up with my barrel on the deadbox and see you across the feild, I hate you. All that's on my mind is shooting you as many times as I can. I want you off my feild, and you better do it fast.

I agree with Barber, totally.

The guys I used to play with decided to quit because of my attitude. Basically, they didn’t like the fact that I played to win, I played to be the best every game, and I pushed them to do the same. They never had that attitude, and they got served every game without fail. My brother and I were the only ones with that attitude, and we were the only ones that prevailed every time.

Your mindset going into a game determines how you’re going to do. If you believe that you’re going to fail, then you’re going to fail. Having the mindset of success is the first step towards winning. If you have a problem with being sure of yourself, then I suggest you just stop trying to play sports all together, because you’ll fail at all of them.

On a side note, there is nothing saying that between games you cant be a good sport. I was always fixing people’s gear between matches, but out on the field, I was tough as nails to them. You need to manage a game attitude and a off time attitude. You do that, than there is no telling how far you’ll be able to go.

Off the feild I am always cool with everyone, I talk to everyone and tell them they did good out there, talk about the game happening right then, talk about guns, whatever. As soon as I step on the feild, I'm a whole other person.

Same with me. I play to win, everytime. My friends don't though if we are playing rec but that doesn't matter to me. I play to win if we are playing rec, woods, tourny, anything. It's that simple.

QFT. Thats exactly how i am, i dont want people that i play with to think that im an inconsiderate asshole. I want them to like me so i actually have people to play with when i got. (Walk on all the time unless its factory practice) And if im gay to them they will be gay to me back, and thats not cool because then they will have more of a reason to hate you or shoot you up.

Croix you truly didn't have to make a thread of this, you should have kept it to yourself, now everyone is going to flame you.
