....and it worked perfectly. My dad has a professional grade digital camera (Cannon EOS10D) and he can set it up to take multiple pictures per second. The other day, I was talking to him about it because he was taking pictures of some plants in our back yard for my mom (flowers) and I asked him if he could try to get a picture of a paintball leaving my barrel. He looked in the manual for his camera, and saw that he could set it to take multiple pictures per second...so today, we went out into the back yard and tried it out. He set his camera up to take 3 pictures per second, I had my ION on semi-auto. We took a total of 21 pictures, 2 of which captured a paintball leaving the barrel. One was right as the paintball was leaving the barrel, and the other one was a little later...

The first one, you can see the paintball on the far left. On the second one, the paintball is just leaving the barrel.

When I get more air and better colored paint (to stand out more) we are going to do this again, but with a higher setting on his camera. Then we are going to try and get a picture of a paintball right as it hits something.

If this is the wrong section...sorry. Wasn't sure where to put it...

lol...yea, when I joined I my primary gun was a fenix. Now the fenix is my backup.

u should try to get a picture and see how close together u can get 2 paintballs

might have to try that...next time we try, I will put it on rebound once or twice and see if it works...if it doesn't, then I will just put it back into semi so I don't waste more paint.

Theres a pic of some paintballs flying through mid air. I thought i'd share it seeing that were discusing paintballs caught on camera in midair. Wonder if they hit him or not? and im new to paintballing so i don't understand some of the things you talk about, what did you mean by 'ropes' hucha?

when u get a fast shooting gun, like a high end electro, you shoot a lot of balls in a very fast sequence.... so it looks similar to a rope, of paint... get it? its like a stream of paintballs.... ya

it would be cool to see some long exposure and low F number... that paintball would be like a stream of yellow
