2 was best, but none of them were anything special imo....
anyone can throw together some clips and put a song on it.... the thing that sets good videos apart from average vids is incorporating the music with the action.... making the music go with the video..... ya know what im saying? if the music 'spikes', make it a clip of somone divin over a bunker real quick or sumtin... i duno hard to explain on the intraweb.net...

cause emo music and paintball go well together
and like Steve said. anyone can do what you did. ur vids are like 3/10 rating. It's making the music work w/ the video. Watch some derder, 720, or other pro editors for better examples...
like u just gotta search for a good song..

I didnt read every reply, but I read one talking about the music. And I agree. The Sum 41 didnt fit, but the second one was a bit better, and the third one, was that Trivium? It sounded like them, so thats good, because metal would be your best bet for paintball videos... Oh... Oh my... I just read the replys... Emo... emo sucks. Lots. And it sucks. Metal is a lot better. Can you honestly say, that for a video about people shooting eachother, My Chemical Romance, Taking back Sunday, Brand New, or Thursday (all bands which arent good) would come out on top of Pantera, In Flames, Mudvayne, or Shadows Fall (all bands which could slaughter every emo band alone in musical talent, musical quaility, physical fighting, or just their names) Seriously, you throw some Soilwork into a paintball video, I dont care if you hate metal, you'll like the video a whole lot more, but like BAURblades said, you have to make it fit to the music. Song slows down, video slows down. guitar solo comes in... well this could vary, you have a nice slow melodic solo, you have lots of clips in slow motion I would assume, but you get some Children of Bodom's Alexi Laiho solo, you gotta have people like, doing backflips over bunkers, skydyiving while juggling flaming chainsaws and one man full team take-downs. Ok I think I'm done... Emo doesnt fit. I'm sorry.
No, I'm actually not...
Edit: I Just watched the video with the original video, then with the overdub music... I'm keeping my own opinion. In fact, I like my opinion even more.

im trying somthing new with the music... a new style.... i duno if it will work, but who cares... thank goodness for limewire, i need to find the right song...

I reccomend any of the bands I mentioned. No really, Im serious, they would be good. If your making a very fast paced video, I would reccomend Stalemate by Soilwork.  |
