I got my jersey for 30 and my second one for free on free jersey day. It sucks I missed free shoes and free glove day.

I think longsleeve shirts are lame, but I really could care less. Its the player not the clothing, but longsleeve shirts with a logo printed on them going for 40-50 bucks is just retarded.

i wear wahtever I grab. I have a few longsleeve shirts I grabbed on sale at walmart, an hk longsleeve, my proto practice jersey i got fo free, my team jersey/shirt, and tons of old jerseys that are cut up for ventilation.

I don't like jerseys. I like looking different.

Paintball has exploded in to a nearly world wide sport. Now lets think about this for a second...

New marker = up to $1800
Hopper = up to $120
Upgrades for marker and hopper = could be $500 or more
2000 paintballs = up to $65
Mask = up to $100

Paintball is an expensive sport, and as long as there is people who have the money to spend $3000+ on that stuff they definatly wont have trouble spending $60-$100 on clothing and apperal to make them look even better. If a team is sponsored they are going to wear the stuff their sponsors give them to make them look cool to bring attention to their company. Paintball isn't 100% for fun and entertainment for the players anymore money is now a key factor in the sport, it is now a multi-million dollar industry.

I find it pretty nice to wear normal T-shirts instead of these jerseys.

Infact, i think paintball jerseys work better when flying across the dirt road landscape on dirk bike.

meh ur prices are kinda high.... ok they are really high, except for the hopper... my hopper was $150...

but its not like we are forced to spend that much.... we choose to spend that much.... u can play paintball by spending > $200 on gear and >$40 bucks to play every time....

In soccer your not the **** unless your wearing $200 cleats and top of the line shorts and such.

Basketball you need the cool kicks and shorts, same with football.

It's the same as anywhere else in the world, what you wear defines who you are, whether your walking the streets of a city, in a buisness meeting or playing sports.
I agree with basketball and football

soccer, however is all about the feet. without good cleats you're not going to get a good touch on the ball and you can't feel it as well either. If you've ever worn cheat cleats from a retail store and then also worn nice cleats you'll immediately feel the difference. and your passing WILL improve as well as shooting. NEVER diss the soccer cleat. It's like playingfootball with a sucky ball and a torn up field full of holes and weed or basketball without a nice goal when you have crappy cleats.

Now to the paintball talk:

The clothes you wear on the field dont' matter. Pants are a little more important cuz the paintball pants are more durable and some have padding in them. The onyl reason i can see taht you want to look nice is for a tourney. A team shoudl be unified and should also be dressed with at least the same jersey. Outside of a tourney though, i dont' see why it matters to have a cool looking gun or an awesome jersey. People should be proud of thier markers, especialyl if they built them or have put lots of time into them. it's almost like a car. youre' gonna feel more pride for it if you spend more time working on it and getting used to how it works..

You're an idiot. You know how much better jersies hold up then regular longsleeve shirts? I no longer wear a jersey to practice, only becuase its practice and i had the shirt from a tournment. My old dye jersey which i used for a year or so never got any holes in it. My Shirt has plenty of holes. A jersey has a function.

Like, it's gotten to the point where it disgust me to see people play in that type of ****. If you can afford a highend gun, and if you can afford to be in a tournament, then you can afford to not look like a douchebag.
...i got my proteus for free though and i thought looked cool

see i don't think it really matters if a guy is decked out with the latest clothes or if he's wearing a t-shirt and old jeans.

I think jerseys and pants are worn as an intimidation factor, just to get people scared and rattled up before the game starts.

Omg.....Yes Jersies and pants are an intimidation factory but also its quality wear that won't tear when you slide, or get holes when you get shot.

I'd like to see someone play an entire season with the same pair of jeans and the same shirt and have it last the season when palying atleast 3 times a month, and atleast 1 tourney every month and a half. Now lets compare that to someone wearing a paintball jersey and pants.

ZOMG a l33t practice photo! Check out my sweat gear.

But in all seriousness, I have 05 JT Team Pants on the way, call me a n00b but they have like the best bounce factor ever in all of pants history. Also, a proto practice jersey over a longsleeve shirt is also a major bounce factor. Who said looking good can't serve a purpose as well? I gurantee you as soon as I get my proto practice jersey and wear it over my longsleeve, my bounce factor will increase by like 10 levels. I'll report back to you with my findings whether or not looking good can serve a specific bounce factor function.
