EDIT: HOLY CRAP, i met them like 2 days ago, they were all at practice just hanging out and playing with us.. i have a vid of them + 2 of our players playing with them at EPIK.

Here's how I look at the whole "starting a scene."

Don't put in on an internet forum people around the country read. Just rep it at your local field, people will get interested, exchange contacts and it'll grow if it's really about paintball.

Starting a scene isn't about paintball...it's about a few individuals who want to bring attention to themselves by starting "a mutherf*cking movement". It's dumb, they're dumb, and the entire "paintball is a lifestyle" is dumb. Paintball ranges from all walks of life, and there is no definition of who a paintballer is. You could give average statistics (age, income, location), however, those say nothing about the persons lifestyle. At most, I bet most people play once a week. I also play softball once a week, does that mean I live a softball lifestyle? No, or at least god I hope not. Just cuz you throw on some baggy pants, and wear Avio's doesn't make you anything other than a person in those clothes. I play basketball all the time, during the summer, 4-5 times a week for 2 hours +, I love Nike, I follow the NBA, I don't leave my living room in March...however, do I live a basketball lifestyle? No, because the sport you play doesn't determine your lifestyle.

its not exactly a "paintball is a lifestyle and if you dont follow us your not cool rawr" type thing. Read their website, they're a bunch of tourney paintballers who are a little rough and tough, who get together and ball for fun.

But, it can, no? I like internet hype, it is what keeps the sport growing. I like 'mowing muppets' slang, it keeps the sport fresh, and new.
