Hello. ANyone here have a high school paintball team? ANy ideas on how to start one? If my school had one, wed probaly have to use those rebounce paintballs. Are they any good? Thanks

Yes sir, Ive got one... and we made a club with 100+ members.

As to start one, talk to principle.

When you talk to whoever it is you gotta talk to, be as business like as possible. Research it a little, tell him how the school can benefit, and safety is really important as well.

Search. We get a thread like this atleast once a week.

Talk to you principle/administrator. Convince him it is now violent, that it is a sport, and who him you gear and stuff, show him how in depth the game is and that we arn't a bunch of milsim army guys shooting other humans for sport.

paintball CLUBS are hard to start, much less a team.

Try to keep the pressure on the administation, it might work eventually.

that's not a generalization or judgement..... you're not gonna start up a high school milsim paintball team.. you're gonna start a highschool speedball team or something of the sort....

here are the steps

1.go to pbn
2. go to your region in the regiol sections.
3. make a thread with the title of your high school. for the post make it about starting a club or team.
4. talk to the people that post
5. ok it with principal of school.
6. start club
7. mow nubs with your friends
8. get laid cause paintballers are bad ass
9.
10 profit.

I'm at step 4, step 5-10 should be done by friday.

sorry but this has been said a million times. milsim isn't going anywhereand it makes the sport look bad. speedball is marketable and looks fun for people to watch.

The generalization isn't the noone is going to do a MilSim team, but that MilSimmers are just people shooting humans for sport. It suggests barbarism. Speedball shoots humans for sports too. That is what paintball is, not matter what branch of it. But that will start another rant from both sides of the line, so for the sake this thread keeping on subject, let's all just leave it at that.

speedball looks more like capture the flag, unlike milsim whick looks like war and human hunting.

Let's forget the fact that the scenario and MilSim genre of paintball is ever growing, and that other areas of the industry are getting into the MilSim and scenario market. Let's just forget that for a moment shall we?

Just because someone wears BDUs and carries and M16 and communicates well and flanks means they make the sport look bad? Playing fair, calling themselves out if they are hit, and being generally good natured makes the sport look bad as well.

I don't know your defittion of what makes the sport look good, but if it is what I think it is, then you need to get your eyes checked.

I am IN the MilSim industry. I have been in the MilSim industry before many of the other companies jumped in. I think I just might know what I am talking about on this one.

Your opinions are your opinions. You are entitled to them however wrong they might be. That is what makes America great.

Now let's just get back to topic here.

I was NOT knocking milsim, woodsball, or anything else. I was just saying that the general conception of paintball is 'Mock war' or 'human hunting,' etc.... I dont have a problem with woodsball or milsim or what ever. Again, I am not knocking it. When you say paintball, people think 'army' not speedball. School and Army don't mix well, unless your talking about ROTC and stuff
