No flatline? doing a ballistics study you would HAVE to include the flatline! it puts a backspin on the ball for cripessake! lol Thats what i use, but my alternate is *going* to be a 14" J&J ceramic, so ill vote that.

Out of my 12", 14", and a 16" I only use the 12". The other two just seem too long on my cocker.

I know how the flatline "works". Its a very unstable and inaccurate device. Its only strong points (if you could call them that) are that it is overhyped by tippmann fanboys.

lol, this is going to be an in-depth scientific type study (I'll be doing several experiments, speaking with ballistics scientists, going to a range and takling to someone for help with teh statistics, and maybe getting some information from Sir Tom Kaye.. He and AGD did a big study on spinning paintballs, and I'd like some of the raw data to crunch.

I wont deny its not as accurate as most barrels, but the range advantage (especially in woodsball) is worth it. Besides, a little practice and the right calibur/brand of paint can make a big difference.

I put 14", but I actually want to get a 16" to push the bunkers in more.... but w/e, I've always used 14" for the past few years, so I guess that's what counts for me
