whats that stuff they put on macro fittings?
whats that paste sealant stuff that comes with new macro connectors?
someone once told me, but i forgot.. and i could use some righ tnow.

Teflon tape.
The grey goop stuff is some kind of sealent/thread locker. I always scrape it off and use the tape so that I have a chance at taking the fitting off again when I need to.

Is it pipe dope? IDK if thats what they use, but it works good for sealing threads and I didnt have and trouble removing it.

Either use loctite(blue) or use teflon tape.

Teflon tape sucks. Use blue loctite, its way easier to work with. People think you need to heat it up to get it off or that its permanent, but you can get it off quite easy with an open ended wrench.

it's a Liquid Telfon sorta...
it works exactly like teflon tape and IS NOT PERMITE!
i use Blue loc-tite on all my fittings, b/c teflon can break up and get into ur gun.
