I said when I first started paintball,that I would never wipe. I lied,I started to play alot more speedball,and I do agree it is part of the game,and I have done it a few times. But you can still be a good paintballer without wiping.

Yeah, never wipe at a practice or recball or something, but when you drive 9 hours for a touney and pay $2,000 for entry, your going to wipe no matter what.

It's part of the game, allways has and allways will.

I.E. when a kid and his ****ty d2 xball team are talking **** on your local team....come to your local field.......your are kicking there ass......get a luck brake and u wipe it.....and one of there guys that was out runs up to me and says "YOUR OUT I SAW YOU WIPE" i reply "you play d2 xball and ur trying to tell me u dont wipe." (continues to shoot teamates epidermis)

Man im kinda glad im not a tourny player. Im primarily a woodsball player and have been thinking about getting more into speedball. Listening some of you talk about CHEATING like its a day in the park is really kind of disappointing. After all...

with no regard to the other team you are playing that ALSO payed 2k in entry fees and wants to play fair? Wiping to me just means you were the inferior team, you know it, and you value figuring out how to cheat than playing better.

Look guys:

Some people don't like wiping. Some people do. It will happen no matter what. Those who like to wipe will wipe. Those who don't just won't. It happens. People will choose to do it, people will choose not to.

Threads like these don't solve any issues, they don't convince anyone to wipe/not to wipe.

All they do is turn into flame wars. End it now

I'm against wiping all the way, but I completely agree with Barber. It's not like it is impossible to prevent. If you don't want a person wiping your shot then lay em' out with like 6. If the person still manages to wipe off six shots without being caught then the truely deserve to win. This thread is gonna turn into a flame war soon I think it should die now.

i HATE it when people wipe in rec. its one of the most pointless things ever. however, tourney ball is much different. before everyone starts flaming wipers, play a tourney. but the wipers shouldn't get on the non-wipers backs. whatever floats your boat

Heres the thing:

If it works for you, its fine and dandy.

If it works against you, its gay as hell.

If it's in rec ball, its just so gay, the guy should be ejected from the field.

That's how it is. Whether you like wiping or not (I don't like wiping), that's how it's going to work.
