Oh crap!
Hey guys, i need help... i am gunna play in a backyard tourny tomarrow and dont know how to put my tippy under 300 fps unless i get it checked... how do i know when its under 300? thanks...

shoot under a chronograph. take it to your local proshop they should have one. and 300 means the velocity is all the way up.. i dought your gun is set to its highest velocity

actually, it was... lol, i changed it but... i cant get it chronographed... the nearest shop is 30 minutes away and i've been there the past 2 days in a row...  ... so anything under full velocity is ok?

Not necessarly. With the velocity all the way up I bet it would be over 300.
It depends on a lot of things, you can't just 'guess' because it can change all the time. Especially with CO2.

turn your velocity screw all the way in and then turn it out 2 turns and it should be around 280

Like tippy98causer said, with a tippy you have to turn the allen key and far as it will go in, and then back out.

If you have time, measure about 300 feet out in a yard. Then stand at one end, if the ball makes it to the other end/over the end. You're shooting hot. But that takes time.

Finnally somebody said it. ^^ The way that works is that a ball dropped from shoulder level takes aprox. 1 second to hit the ground. So, if you hold your marker LEVEL and chest high and shoot, and it travels further then 300 feet before hitting the ground its hot. The hard part is measuring off 300ft.

My friend got a tippmann, outa the box it chrony at 402bps. They are weird guns when it comes to that. If you won't get shot by your own gun then your shooting hot.
