i was looking through a popular science magazine the issue that talks about war in space(newest?) anyways it's relatively new. well they had a article about a robot expo. well there was basically this one that was a home unit or soemthing that could actually shoot paintballs in a "self defense" mode. What exactly is the purpose i don't know, doesn't seem that effective of a defense, it's better than bullets, but doesn't sound that good to either

I was thinking about using a paintball gun in self defense. It'd be really close quarters like in my house. With my Ego shooting 15 bps constitently, I could have a stream of 30 bps at a robbers head pretty quickly.

But maybe I'm just weird.

ehh..idk, you'd have to shoot it pretty hard to get someone to stop doing whatever..and youd probably break the paint first...or you could just make rubber balls like that and shoot it at them? pellet guns work..why paintball tho, lol

cuz unless you have a c02 handgun, pellet guns dont' fire nearly fast enough. plus the handguns onyl hold 9-12 pellets. with a paintball gun, even shooting 12bps at a robers head will DEFINATELY make him think twice about doing anything else.

True. That will would hurt getting 200 rounds inot your head willl not feel to good in jail..... I think the robber will be dain bramaged from it all.
