id go with the ion but you will get a lot of b2k4 fans telling you otherwise. Youd be better off to shoot them both if you could, they both feel and shoot pretty different.

I personally think the promaster is better. But i like the ion also. Its all up to you, but remember what ever gun you get, you need to save money for a hpa tank if you dont have one. And a fast hopper would be nice also.

B2k4 > Ion.
#1 Reason: You can use co2 on a b2k4.
2. B2k4s are faster.
3. Less upgrades for b2k4 to make them better, ions need more upgrades to be compatible with b2k4's.
4. Light/as light as ion.
5.B2k4's also do not have all of the useless ramping, full auto, burst stuff.
Con of b2k4: Gas hog. Same with ions.
ALSO, just edited:Found out you can buy UK ions, that blink blue and dont have Auto, and burst for only 200.

umm cocker kid the bushmaster is about 8 oz heavier then ion (I dont care but a lot of people care about the whole weight thing). The or at least mine broke a lot. I say get the ion. It will be easier to sell and you will make more money when you want a new gun.

lol, dude. you are so ignorant. "i hate smart parts" in ur sig. could your opinion here be a little biased possibly if you cant afford 70 bux for a n2 tank you probably havnt had the money to play enough to have the skills to fully use a 'fast' gun. Ions are actually pretty awesome stock (same with b2k4s) and its not lighter. You are seirously just... ugh, definately not worth getting mad about ur stupidity.

Lol, no, i'm actually being honest i do "hate/dislike (CHANGED) smart parts, very bad experiences with almost all their guns, shocker, Ions(especially), and my pos old impulse". I pointed out the fact that you can use co2 on a b2k4 so n00bs do not have to pay extra for HPA. I def have a crossy 45/4500. And i played in IAO, came in 8th out of i think 56 teams? In 7 man Xball. I'm not trying to be a douche, or cocky. But don't judge a book by its cover man.

Hey, Dj. Grow up. This is an internet forum. My friend has a freestyle, love it, i had a chaosed b2k4 that i just traded, loved it. Thats why i said i wasn't trying to sound cocky or anything. Now so i dont stop jackin this guys thread. PM me or better yet. I/m me Sk8r4lyfe231.
Anyway, ions arren't TOO bad. The bad parts about them are they are mostly plastic, you cannot field strip it, and takes a bit of upgrading to get them goin good. I also hear that smart parts doesn't have the best customer service. I could be wrong about that. But definately try them both out and see how you like them. B2k4=Cheaper and a better bang for buck.

IONS ARE NOT MOSTLY PLASTIC - YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T OWN ONE.
I've had an ion for about 6 months, never had a problem with it, never blown a seal, for that matter, I'm only on my second battery.
Now, I have done alot of upgrades to mine, but it is mostly cosmetic, except for the Bob Long Reg.........and its been a really good marker. And with the Blackheart board out now (which I plan to get), it will perform just like any other tournament marker.
As for field stripping............who field strips a speedball marker.........you sure don't have time to do it on the field. No, you can get it apart in 15 seconds like you can a spyder, but why would you need to strip it quickly......its not a woodsball marker.

I have never once had a problem with anything I bought from SP. However the matter bout' the marker. It's a matter of preference n' how you play.

to be fair to both sides of the spectrum here if youve had it for 6 months and ur only on ur 2nd battery than you obviously havnt used the gun much yourself either.
i like icd more than sp actually. the promaster looks really nice. i definately want to shoot it to compare it to the ion. looks wise, definately promaster over the ion. performance between the b2k4 and ion i would say the ion out of the box. thats completely just preference and opinion, both guns are great. didnt mean to be mean to anyone but i guess i just like to have my opinion heard

Okay, who cares about field stripping? Obviously you've had a spyder before you got the ion. Being able to field strip your gun is very important.
Say, someone lit you up, and hit the lid of your hopper, popped that open and another ball went into your hopper, and broke. All of your paint would have some paint on it. Correct? Then, the paint gets on your bolt, which goes inside of the shell, how the hell are you gonna get the paint out of the gun when its inside of that shell. Now on a gun like say, an autococker, you can take the bolt out, and shove a battle swab straight through the gun, taking out all of the paint. Now you can go out and spend some $ on a body like a strange and you'd be able to take the back off, but guns like shockers and matrices and ions, arren't very easily field stripped. Also, I have worked on more ions than you could count man, at my field, everyone comes to me and my friend nate to fix their ions, install qevs, because none of them know how to work a damn thing about them because its their first gun.
And DJ, i just thought about what i said. Sorry man. I like my opinion to be heard too. Lol.
