I agree. But i don't think it will stop it too much. More newbs will come, unless you keep upping this thread, it will go to the next page and newbs will never see it. And keep spamming and not putting things in the right subforum. It's a great idea, if it gets stickied.

new people dont look at sticky's..you have a better chance with just upping it everyday, and title it NEWBS READ HERE or something...or the admin of the site could put in when people register that they have to read an article about how to post and then take a test and if they pass then they can join...but that might turn potential members away

you should have to crack some simple puzzle to get in, that would eliminate half the goofballs around here.

Yes the edit button is the most neglected on the forum
