Some barrels, like dye ultralite and dye boomsticks come in two pieces, a back and a tip. You then screw these pieces together to form a complete barrel. The back controls the bore size(the closer it is to the ball size the better the accuracy) and the threading on the back. The tips control the length of the barrel. So, provided you buy a back that has the correct threading you can use any of those tips(though if you buy an UL back you must buy an UL tip of course).

Most high-end barrels, the only exception off the top of my head is the lucky 15 kit, are two piece barrels. These generally work better and are more accurate then a single piece barrel of the same quality.

Also, you cant post links to web retailers other the xpaintball.com(when this link is edited, it was to a page with ul tips in various lengths and colors).

the manufacturer uses their own threads usually for the tips, which do not fit in any paintball gun made today. the tip will fit into the back however, which is the peice with the correct threading for whatever gun you have.
