they are from completely different price and quality ranges, theres no way to fairly compare them to each other.

Ehhh..... I shot one once, it didnt really impress me. It didnt seem any better than a 04 speed. Could of bought it for 450 also. But maybe it just wasnt set up that good.

A damn nice post by bulldog, I agree with pretty much everything he says.
The only part I would change is what you said about the ego, yes it is small, light, fast and efficient, but saying it has excellent feel, trigger and "everything" is your own personal opinion. It's one that I agree with, as many others do, but to each person their own.

11.karnivor: Cockers are outdated pos. let them die. besides, i dont feel like supporting an evil outside multinational corperation. 5/10
12.ego: Fast, small and light. However i hate the optical switch and the new design. Besides it lobs and bounces like a ***** if not set up perfectly. 9/10 for 05 7/10 for 06.
