Cool Getting Back Into Paintball And Have Some Questions

Whats going on people? Im currently new to the forum and I have played the exciting sport of paintball years ago and looking to get involved again. I gotta say is wow, I mean some of the guns like the autococker, impulse, bushmaster, and the shocker to name a few have changed a lot since I last played back in 2000. I was never really to serious about playing aggressively like my other friends were I was more of a recreational player. So that brings me to the question what would be a good, accurate marker to purchase? I was informed numerous times back in the day that the autococker was the worlds best accurate marker available. Also I guess its the new impulse with the cool ass fade and colors thats catching my eye as well that marker is sweet. So any advice on what would be a good, accurate marker is greatly appreciated.

Greetings and welcome back to the sport. I suggest you read this New Player Sticky as it does a great job of going through the various marker options.

Should you have further questions - Post up! That is what we are here for.

you know those old blocky matrixes that no one liked well they are the least popular people try to get rid of their impulses and angel and autococker are not the most popular even though they are both still really good. How much do you have to spend and what equipment do you already have?

Start off with a gun like a 98C and run it on CO2. Then save up some money and buy an HPA tank. Save up some more and buy a 12 volt viewloader revolution (hopper). Save up even more and buy an Ion. I don't recommend starting off with an Ion unless you are willing to learn how to maintain a gun like that. There is a lot of info in the New Players section.

Whats going on guys? I used to have tippman 98 marker that was anodized marble blue,98 ci 3000 psi compressed air tank, drop forward, and a blue 12 volt viewloader ball hopper. It was ok but the only thing I didn't like about it is that the velocity adjuster always came wiggling out during game-play and caused the paintballs to break in my barrel excessively. My two playing fields are Top Gun Paintball of Jackson, New Jersey and Fireball Mountain of freehold, New Jersey. Im looking into purchasing one of the new Smart Parts Guns they look pretty sweet. So any advice or greetings are appreciated.
