Urgent appeal; Please get us out of here
Urgent appeal; Please get us out of here
We, at the 1st Cavalry Division in Iraq, direct this message to our families, senators, congressmen and women, and to every person with life conscious at the homeland.
There are no words that can describe what we face here in Iraq. We have lost, continue to loose, many of our dearest friends and comrades. It feels like we are fighting ghosts here, we know that there will be no way for victory here. The situation keeps only getting worst!
Imagine that we are fighting people who do not fear death!
They think we are doing them a favor, since death will shorten the distance between them and paradise.
Additionally, our moral is getting lower daily as we witness the increasing numbers of the dead and the injured. The numbers published are much less than the reality.
Needless to mention our suffering of shortage in basic supplies like; gas, water, food, and hygiene items.
Nevertheless we freely signed for the army, however it never crossed our mind the kind of danger we will be facing. We would never mind if this war was for a fare and just cause, but we now know that this war was only created to satisfy the greed of few people whom will never ever send their kids to face what we are facing.
We are sending you this message and we are not confident that we will be able to write another one soon. We feel that death is waiting for us at every corner.
Our enemy is out there waiting to hunt us. We even get threat message through our inner email network. Just yesterday we received the following:
www.sendspace.com/file/uh92rw
http://www.abolkhaseb.net/media/vedio/shot6.wmv
O’ God help us get out of here! We urge you to spread this message at every level, hoping to return home in one piece, not in a body bag.
Sincerely,
Your Sons & Daughters

I really respect the Army and the people who are in the Army/Navy/Marines whatever Military Corp it may be, and I know you guys are going through very tough conditions over in Iraq, but still its a War, people die in Wars, you should of known that when you signed up for the Army. I'd feel the same way as you did if I was over there too, but I'd still fight and battle through all the hardships until I got home, and if I was killed, so be it, I would of died valiantly.

ha, except this is fundamentalist propaganda
In case you wanted to know, the pictures which imageshack has taken down show a pictue of coffins and a slogan that says 'American soldiers you will soon be here-signed 'the iraqi resastance'". Another shows a crying soldier and a caption that says 'dont be afraid we'll just take your head off' signed the iraqi resastance.
This is completely made up, not american at all and not to mention the 1st calvary isnt even deployed right now.

Yeaaaa!! somebody has their head on straight. From the very first sentence you can tell its propaganda. I was wondering how many posts it would take before somebody figured it out. Congrats chrome. I salute you. Nobody in that kind of situation writes like that (or to a paintball forum). Pure BS. Remember though, we do have soldiers over there, whether you agree with why they're there or not, please remember them. And questioning the war DOES NOT "ultimately hurt our troops" as some would have you belive. As for should we be there or not, time will tell, time will tell.

If this guy was really with the !st armored cav, I want his balls on a plate the sissy bastard.
Morale in our troops is high, we are winning. Iraq will be free.
You don't want to be there... fine. Go to the Top seargent and resign your commission as a soldier and then pay your own way home.
Just get out of this forum.
BTW - IF you are living and dying in Iraq, why is your IP coming up as santa clarita california...
Go eat some bean curd you hippie freak...
God bless America and its REAL patriots...
