I told that story just because I think it's funny, but yes I have shot them, and perhaps they are reliable, I dont know and dont care.

What I do know is that all they are are drastically overpriced spyders.

Yup, a spyder, if it's a stacked tube blowback, it's a spyder clone. Of course someone could make the irrelevant argument that spyder didn't invent the stacked tube blowback marker, but that point is moot.

If your paying $500 for a gun it damn well better be electro pneumatic. Say what ever you want, but performance on one of those things is no greater than a $60 rodeo from walmart.

(huge ass 200yard long woods course)

Needless to say I just kind of sat there and laughed at him with some refs. Intimidation factor? I suppose someone fresh to the sport would see it that way, but after the first game you would realize that he sucked, so no matter how much extra plastic he paid for didn't matter much.

As you can clearly tell I dont care much for these companies putting out these extremely overpriced spyders and marketing them to newcomers to the sport. I think they are pretty damn cool, and perfect for scenario games and really avid woodsballers, but I dont agree with the companies marketing towards new kids who waste so much money on a gun not right for them.
iwas thinking hte same thing and have sen stuff like that all the time
