Don't wear screw-ins. You'll get stuck in the turf. Best off using good running sneakers if its astro turf or 'atomix turf', aka field turf. If you have the money, get a set of molded cleats or turf cleats.

Soccor cleats work nicely, get the type for light grass. There great if you play front or alot of knell bunkers, however for stand ups you might not like how it feels.

depending on where you are playing the turf can be very not cool to land on as well... might wanna bring your knee elbow pads. I play very agressive up front and I used to come home broken every time we played indoor tournies. just a thought. dye cleats work great for turf...thats all I really used. some baseball cleats seem to work good too just because of the added traction over say soccer cleats.

Regular sneakers = **** on a turf field.
It gets slippery and you just slip and fall when you try to run OTB.
Buy some nice soccer cleats.

I use soccor cleats on turf. N' baseball cleats outdoorss. I get enough traction to run n' slide into the 50. It works for me.

I've never played indoor PB, but from the POV of a college lacrosse player, I've played on alot of turfs from school to school. I have learned that the best thing to use on turf is either some good cross trainers, as they have good grip plus support, or if you're playing on regular turf and field turf and want to get one pair of cleats for both, Nike makes a turf line with 3 different soles. The middle sole, which is a series of small bumps is ideal for both, but I doubt that there are many indoor PB fields that would have field turf, so it seems that some good cross trainers are the way to go.

See, while those small bump turf shoes would work good on regular turf, most fields dont clean the turf at all, so it's paint soaked and pretty slimy. I've seen people slipping up in turf cleats before.
