I am new to tournaments. So how many players are on a team in a tournament.

depends on format. Ask the field. Popular formats are 3-man and 5-man also 5-man xball is popular.

5 man
7 man
Xball - 10 players + 2 staff(5 men on field at once).

Thanks so it just depends on what the rules are. So there could be a four man tourney also

Don't be a fool and go to tournie thats over your head, i see too many teams go to a division 3 tournie and wast a ton of money. Play alot of local tornoments first so you can then judge when your ready to move up.
