This is my first mix of a tournie; I took the footage myself at a tournie here in MA held at Fox4 Paintball (http://www.fox4paintball.com/newsite/index.php). Lmk what you think (Note- Some swearing... I suppose PG13!!1!): Teh Vid (FIXED)

pretty good vid man.
Some of those teams didnt look too good, lol...horrible form. But some of them looked like they had their **** together.
what kind of tourny was this?

lol its probably a beginner-intermediate tourney with some good teams trying to get some easy wins

^yeah.
But what i don't understand, is pretty mcuh all of the guys on the field had at least decent guns, but had no clue what they were doing.
Why put the money into a nice gun if you can't do basic snapshooting/sliding/etc.

Because a $900 marker will make you 900 times better!!!!!

thats not what I said, or meant.
I said that since they are spending that much money to get into the tourney scene (nice gun/gear), they should at least, skillwise be ready for it. It had nothing to do with the abilities of the gun.
Its the principle that they bought all this gear, yet they suck.
I know i wouldn't buy a high-end gun let alone sign up for a tourny, if i couldn't shoot with my left hand, and slide into a bunker without ending up on my ass.

I'm trying to do a Derder-esque movie at my field next season, possibly covering the whole year. What kind of video camera did you use?

It was a 5-man tournament, ranked novice and rookie, that was mostly novice in those vids..

A Canon Ultura. It's prolly about... 3+ years old or so

Wow...

Terrible. I can't belive these kids saying "wow omg0rz!" about this... I'll explain.

First of all, the first thing I noticed was it was boring. Honestly. There was, what, 4 bunkerings? 5 bump ups? 6 breakouts? for a 7 minute (or so) video? Terrible... The intro once the song picks up is slow, you got the song going fast and all you are showing is people, posted out of a bunker, shooting.

Next, the editing was not so great, kinda cheezy, kinda lame. But hey, don't worry about it, that gets better over time.

And as if I am not 09448392850945 times sick of that second song from hearing it every 20 minutes on GHTP. Honestly. I HATE it when people use the same song for more than one video. Have some origionality.

Another thing, that was already mentioned, those teams where... TERRIBLE. Well, most of them, anyways. That team with the green jerseys is embarrasing, especially that one kid who *tried* to slide feet first into the snake by like jumping and kicking out or somthing... Ugg. Those kids have no shooting form, RUNNING FORM (Kids look like they are running 50%-75%), or any form at all... Honestly, that is NOTHING like the local tournaments around here... Young guns tournies here are litterally, 3 times more skilled. Seriously.

Bleh, maby I am too hard on it, because I am used to Derder and my own video makings and expeiriences, but to me, that video sucked.
