Ya they have padding and other stuff but matching jerseys and pants mean one thing. INTIMIDATION if you are in a tourney with a team that is wearing some shirts and a pair of jeans and you are outfitted in your empire pants with five pocket storage padded knees and grip for your harness and a matching jersey. The other team is going to think **** we are going to get mowed. When you warm up for a basketball game you do your best to look intimidating so they are not confident. and therefor you have a better chance of winning until you face the team with matching jerseys pants guns and maks

I don't take people who play in t-shirts very seriously, especially if they are white t-shirts. Honestly, I think playing with out long sleeves, or even with your sleeves pushed up looks super gay.
