paintball pants...that important?
well ive played in a tourney before, i wore jeans and a jersey...worked great lol. but some guys here wanna start up a team. and weve got a sweet deal on jerseys and i can c havin matching jeryseys, but they wanna get pants too. i mean id rather have 50 or however much they are for a case of paint than some pants....so my question is do actual 'paintball pants' help THAT much. if u can, list the pros and cons of like jeans vs pants, thanks guys

paintball pants have very good ventilation(sp?) and sometimes biult in pads and things that help hold you tank and harness in place

One of the most important purchases in paintball aside from your mask and your gun.

i would MUCH rather have paintball pants then jerseys... look at the JT Team Pants.. its durable material that looks cool witha logo on it, good ventilation, and huge pads. In the long run, pb pants help alot... find some Dye Hybrid Pants

Get matching pants and then just get T-shirts with the team name on it... you will be the coolest kids at the tournie.
But anyways, paintball pants can hold squeegees usually which I find useful, the newer ones have padding which is good for bounce and protecting your knees, and are generally made to have a loose fit for even more bounces/protection.

Paintball pants are great. And don't worry about matching pants. Just have everyone get pants and than make jerseys together.
Diffrent pants, same jersey. But we all still looked amazingly stylish.
Except we forgot to make 818_baller (RIP Man, I know you're watching us up in banned people intraweb) a jersey. So yeah.
And yeah, you're gonna keep getting laughed at and not taken seriously with just pants.

yea, pants are great. I have some Empire 06 Inverts, and they have great ventilation and padding. Two important things, 1 is padding on the back to hold a pack in place, and they also have padded knees that make a big difference. They have pockets for squeegees as well.

I've scraped my knees so many times with thin pants, now I have me some Proto pants with nice padding and I'm loving them, no scrapes at all.
A little bigger so that paintballs will bounce.
Look cool.
The material is a little "slippery" so that you can slide a lot better.
Only problem I have with them is that when you first put them on they cling to your legs because of static.

they look good, thats the main thing. padding and pockets and grippy things are also a plus, but are actually insignificant on the whole scale of things. everyone knows 99.9999999999999999% of paintball is just about looking good

Get pants, honestly. You don't know until you have got them.
Also, you can always get them for a birthday, or christmas (only 363 days away!) so that it's not comming directly out of your playing money or what ever...
Get them. There is a reason why all serious players have them.

Seriously. I took forever to get mine, but now I cant imagine going without them. They are very well ventilated to keep you cool, but are fine to play in colder weather with too. They have tons of padding to help protect your crotch and your knees usually. They are some of the most comfortable pants I have ever worn.

They are also multi-purpose... haha.
I went cross-country skiing a little while ago and wore my JT tournament pants, and got compliments on them all day from strangers...
Just imagine if I had some of those new Empire pants...

Do you have the AA team cut, or the regular cut on the SP pants?
The All A's cut which is baggier and bigger is great, but the regular cut sucks.
