vents by empire?
ive seen this and was wandering if anyone had a picture of them wearing one cus from the pictures ive seen it doesnt look like it covers all of the cheek/jaw area. or are they even out yet? looking for alternitive to profiler and invision.

they are by far my favorite mask...and they haven't shipped yet to all the local proshops and stores ( i have heard rumors about the lenses failing some tests, but i don't know if they are true )
it covers way more than the invision at least, i was shot in my bottom lip a few times while shouting out positions while wearing the invision
vents > profilers > invisions IMO

they were sold at World Cup....they haven't shipped all over the US to all the local proshops and stores..etc....but there are ppl who own them

The glue holding the foam on wasn't strong enough. The rest of the mask is perfect. |

Ask Jason (snip3r). Profilers are nice, but it seems vents will be the new profiler.

My buddy read somewhere that the foam wasn't strong enough, and they wouldnt be selling them till way later in the year.

now what I hear is Manike (the guy who helped design these things) denies that it is the glue or foam (the foam has actually been "upgraded" since the world cup models) that it is actually a lense shortage. Their manufacter is behind and holding up supplies.
So i've heard a lense shortage and NOT a lense safty problem (which is another rumor)

i ordered a pair A LONG time ago, still waiting on them at the proshop, but a guy on our team just played a college turny down at atomix, and said a couple guys had them, he said they were sweet.
he did also say your neck/jaw area is more exposed than most masks

My local field owner said they were supposed to become available last weekend or something. It must of been a rumor. When did you guys find out that the glue and the foam didn't stay on or w/e? It must of been more recent.

I was in contact with Simon and he said they should be shipping in a few weeks.
I will probably pick some up when I have the extra cash. What are they going for? I know I can get them for pretty cheap, I just want to know how much cheaper I am getting them.

e-vents are around $90. I know snip3r said he sold his recently for $150.
