yeah i know mavs
quality would still be here though, but for cheaper, simply supply would go up, demand would go down, and prices would have to come down
i.e.
theres not much of something, you pay alot for it
theres alot of something, you dont need/have to pay alot for it
this is a huge idea, and i dont want to debate over it, as you probably dont, im just looking at one point that prices would be greatly effected by pb gaining so much...
either way i dont give a **** though, i'll still be ballin

yeah, i agree there, its not a huge spectator sport, but in person with the right field setup(not the actual field, but staging and spectators area) it can be a decent sport to watch. IMO

Yea, I know. Not trying to start an argument, just trying to think things through.
Lately it seems like some of the quality control has been lacking, that's the reason for my comment. I totally see where your coming from though and totally agree.

yeah, i see what your saying
IMO alot of the "new" lower end markers....suck....like they work, and are alright, but it seems like for 300-400 dollars it should work flawlessly, for awhile
but then again, half the kids do **** to them, to **** them up...

Think before you post.
If alot of people start playing because of the Olympics, supply will go up. However, demand will not go down. I don't see how you're figuring that prices will go down.

No. That's only if there's surplus, and there isn't a demand for it anymore.

Paintball will never be in the Xgames or Olympics unless there are to be some heavy cash prizes.
Personally, I wouldn't fly somewhere for 2 weeks to come back with a medal, **** that. If I were to go I would be coming back with atleast 40 Gs.

Ya, paintball won't ever be in either X-Games or Olympics for several reasons stated in the thread from like last week.

when demand gets higher for something they can raise the prices, because it is wanted more, and they can do that.

so pb is an olympic sport, and alot more people play, therefore the supply of pb products is up, there will be more products on the market than ever before (lets just say and we are assuming), the demand for these products will be GREAT, but demand will not go up as much as the supply, or you would never see any products sitting on shelves...so yes, in general, the prices would begin to fall, after having so many products on the market...

dbl post, cry about it
heres a better explanation of wtf i am talking about
the yellow part is the part in which we are referring, so i can see you you think when supply is up, demand is not down, where the two curves cross is the equilibreum point (spelling is way off), however, with pb being in the olympics, supply will go up, and eventually the sport will not grow as rapidlly, meaning demand would go down....
and if you disagree, every supply and demand graph EVER goes like this, so think before you post :P
