Whould this work?
I’ve been living in shanghai China for awhile now and I’ve noticed the lack of copyright laws here. One car company called Cherry took one of Volvo’s cars and recreated every single part of it so basically took Volvos car and put their name on it and started selling it. GM owns Volvo and didn’t like that. GM took Cherry to court and lost. The reason they lost was it wasn’t against the law to copy it because they didn’t copy it from the original plans. So what I’m wondering is if AKA moved over here and started producing and selling their guns again would Smartparts be able to touch them? If their not able to would they be able to open up a new company here and sell the new evil m under a new name? Don’t flame its just a thought.
EDIT: GM didnt take them to court the people that own Volvo did. The fact is they lost agianst cherry.

I wish. I just really think they have good ideas and shouldn’t be restricted by smartparts in anyway.

Check their website, brand new ones for $700.
The problem with moving them to china is that you would loose the quality. AKA is/was known for having mega high tolerances. If you go to some sweat shop and try to make the same guns you should be ready for a lot of problems.

I noticed that too. Same difference though.
Seems like it would work. Not sure how tough the move would be on AKA though. They're one of the smaller companies so how would moving to a whole new country affect them, not to mention that the country is China.

I think it would help them. For one they get to do what they want. Two they only need one or two Americans to run the company all the other workers can be Chinese so that means they only have to pay the workers 800 rmb (100 US) a month, that is if they want to be nice to the workers. English speaking engineers get paid around 3000 rmb (375 US) a month. All these wages were taken from a varister factory that I interned at around winter time.
