Yeah...my girlfriend is flippin out cuz she says im obsessed w/ paintball.
I can barley pay for the dates, which have lately been just a movie n dinner...and im havin to work my ass off to be able to play paintball to. Every sunday, my friends and i play paintball. i mean EVERY sunday, we havent missed a week in months. But now shes sayin, "you may have to break that tradition." All in all, shes jealous of paintball... mainly cuz one nite, while working on an Ion and an A-5 at the same time, she calls up wanting to just "talk"...well the i was answering "uh-huh, yeah sure why not" to mostly everything, being i was pre occupied, so she got mad...(i cant call her back...or she gets mad.) so the constant clicking of an e-grip almost made her hang up. Well i put the gun down, and she yelled at me, PAINTBALL GUNS ARE TOYS! i said "no...it says it rite on the gun...this is not a toy." jokingly...she didnt find this funny. Well to make a long story short...this kid in front of me had BLUES CREW t shirt, and we started talking about paintball...she got really mad...then my friend calls me to see if im playing paintball tommrow...she got madder, and walked away in a huff..i calmed her down and its all fine now...but how do i balance paintball w/ gf...ive had alot of gf's, but shes by far the most time/money consuming...and at this rate...im never gonna get my new Pro Master!

Cause My Girlfreinds is hooked on paintball now and she can't wait till she can get her own gun.

well, she doesnt like guns, she always says, ill paintball w/ u , just not with guns...so getting her to play is out of the question...but shes hot....but that pro master is lookin pretty good....hmmmmmmm

There may be a loop hole you could used to get her to play.

Start calling them by the PC(politicaly correct) term and call them a "Paint marker" or just a marker

Thats how i got my folks to let me get my 98 when i was in highschool (they would not let "guns" in the house)

go to imageshack.us then browse, find the picture, double click it, click upload, then find the bar that says link for websites, highlight it, copy it, come here type "[IMG][/IMG] then in between the ][ press ctrl v, then post quick reply and vualla, a picture.

What seems to be the main issue here is not paintball, but your lack of funds.

Get a better job, or work on guns for money or something. Get some extra cashflow in so that you CAN pay for dates, as apposed to scrounging for the loose change in your pocket to pay the bill.

A similar thing happened with my girlfriend and magic. I'm a professional magician and escape artist, and she was getting a little upset about the ammount of practice time I use.

Answer to solve the problem? Make her my assistant for larger stage shows.

Take her out paintballing, call it a "marker" instead of a gun.

Either that, or get a pro-gun girlfriend.

Get a phantom instead of a promaster and play with that. Congradulations, your cost to play for a day went down to 200-300 rounds, entry, and 12 grams.

I agree with the lack of funds being the main issue. If you cant get more money, maybe you can settle for playing every other weekend instead. The best situation is if you get her to at least try paintball (use the term marker to get around the whole "guns" stereotype.

I'm gonna buy a Phantom this summer. Weeks that I don't have enough to buy a case or 2 I will just buy a bag and that should last me a day or 2 with a phantom.

hehe hearing stories like this makes me feel blessed... my g/f comes to all my tourneys and practices...she understand i throw all my money into it and i have about 20 bucks to spend when i go out with her or take her to the movies with me and my friends.. so she doesnt want me paying for her stuff she knows ive played pb way longer than ive even known her... so its all good...i mean hell jus last night we ate at a really fancy japanese restauraunt ( earlier that day i had been to the PB field and spent the rest of my money except for the 20 bucks ) and the meal for jus me was 2118...i kinda looked at her and she jus gave me the extra granted it was only a buck and 18 cents but im sure your g/f woulda flipped.

but yeh man like the rest of these kids have been saying get your priorities straight Paintball > G/F( well your kinda g/f at least :-P)
