Resently I have seen a big jumps in cheating and violance on the feild. And it's not just once or twice but last sunday realy took the cake for me.

Perhaps the worst thing was during my first game off the snap the other team starts picking guys off accuratly from 100+ yards. And at that point i thout that it was a bunch of lucky shots till the action started to move towards the close range stuff that I love. And I could hear the paint balls wizzing threw that air and started to think that it was kinda odd. Then I get elementated from three hits to my thigh from about 60 feet off. Well you would think that with the Dye C5 pant that i would not have gotten any welts from the hits, No I got three welts that broke the skin close to the tender zone (most of ya know what I mean). Well that game we got steam rolled. Well the next game same kinda thing happened but my cousin took 1 to the mask and I did to from the same guy. Well his hits put stress cracks in my cousins and my mask. I turned out that the 3 refs were leting people onto the feld and play with out crono tags. These are given out at the crono station to show that your gun is shooting at the feild limit but what good is that when refs let people play with out them. So after pointing this out to the feild owner they stop play in our group and spot crono every one and it turns out that The guy that crack my google lens was shooting at 425fps and others were being caught at 390, 325 even with the crono tag for the day and the limit at SC village is 280 so that was the first thing wrong. Luckly for me i keep a spare lens in my gear bag but my cousin on the other hand had no spare lens or mask so he had to go rent one so he could keep playing.

Then In the parking lot I had a guy acuse me of stealing his gun and tried to start a fight about it. Cause Tippmanns with Red Kapp Grips are o so common (Glad I was not playing with my Ion) When I asked him what color the power tube was he said "What does that mater it's Black and if you don;t give me my gun back i will get the manager". I then told him "Sorry but this one is mine, and I am sorry that some one stole yours."and i lock my gun in my trunk so I can get some lunch with out having to worry about it. So he storms off and gets the feild owner to try and get 'his' gun back. So now with the mannager standing there i ask the Guy again what color is the power tube in the tippmann and he says" I told ya already it's black, now give me my gun back." So I expain to the mannager that I installed a custom power tube in my gun and took off the pannel to show him. At the sight of the custom tube my acuser Runs off and I didn't see him for the rest of the day.

Now that I have been brused, called theif i thought that my day could not get any worst. but being chased by some kids father cause you shot his kid once in the mask. I mean your taking your kid to go play paintball and join the intmeriade group your kid is going to be shot and some point. Well that was the last straw after that i went and put my gun in my trunk, refilled my tank, and took my cousin home. You think that If you pay to play all day and play by therules you would beable to spend the full day at the feild and have fun with out desiding to leave early cause your sick of dealing with cheaters, theifs, and idiot parents.

Sorry to vent but i bet some of you ave all had days like this

sounds like you had a great time....

But seriously, If they were shooting you from 100 yds away, even at 450 fps, they could have got ya with -300 Fps. Because still at 450 it would take over a second to reach you, but that is if the balls would actually go 100 yards.... which I doubt.. unless they aimed really high.

Yea, I have had a couple of days sorta like that(def not as bad though). But just think of all the good times you have went and played, and try to forget that day. Thats the best advice I can tell you.

Iknow but the velocity thing realy got to me the most cause if he had been closer he may have broken my lens completly and put an eye out or some one elses

I've got to agree that these events are really gay, and I can't say that I wouldn't be pretty pissed myself, but I'm going to take an objective view on this one and say that you shouldn't let **** like that bother you too much.

If you're doing nothing wrong, then don't sweat it. Let the staff know, and they'll side with the person that is in the right. Most field staff members are reasonable people. Talk to them, get to know them, get more reputation around your field, and people won't **** with you so much. And if they're still being little *****es, then just tell the staff and they'll handle it.

i sould say from across a good size field that if your shooting at a legal fps then you should only be able to lob a ball only half way across it.

So I'm assuming this is woodsball you're talking about?

How exactly did you figure out what speed they were shooting at?

Ref brought out a pocket crono graph and thats what i saw on the screen for some people.

Ya I kinda plan on it. I will likely find a place that is not as bussy as SC

I kinda miss the group i played with back in Virgina cause stuff was a little more esay going and every one was there to have fun it seemed it. And it did not matter if you won or lost but if you had a good time. and if thing started to get a little one sided the refs would mmix the teams up a little. and you got to know your fellow players a little better cause on a bussy day there would be at most 80 at the feild and if the weather was pouring rain you could count on others guys out there that would be willing to get wet and dirty.

The gun shot 100 yards....that is a whole football field, they must have been shootin really high to hit you, and to leave a welp from that far is kinda wierd, you sure you werent getting shot at from a guy and a teammate accidently shot you up close? lol you nvr know, that could have happened, but sounds like you had a gay day

Don't complain there will always be cheaters on the field and it is just one of those things you get ust to and the bonus ball the person more then normal, and there will always be those people who will try to steal your guns using the stupidest tactics

how about airball for a change, people wouldn't complain about getting shot there.
