I wnt to my local field with my friends the other week and played for a few hours but then my friends burst disk blew so i let him use my nitro...so i decided to just go watch them while they play, so we go up 2 the "waiting are" because ur supposd to wait for a ref there, and after about a half an hour of no1 doin theyr job we saw a groupa lil ways out and decided to join them...but then we found out that they went out witout a ref too and were waiting for one over by the field, so after another 20 mins. of waiting I just saidil ref if you guys want, i mean im not a ref or anything, but i know how" i used to be a ref theyr for a little bit so i thought it would be ok, but about half way through the game a ref comes up and talks to the whole group about not goin out withut a ref, and then a couple of dad goes "well we thought he was the ref..." and pointed at me, and i said "no, i told you i wasnt a ref, i was just gonna do it because no1 wanted to ref us" and then the ref got kinda mad, i mean im kina mad cuz of the ref gettin mad at me and them being so lazy, and the dads for liein and getin me in trouble...im sorry i just wanted to blow of some steam.

your field sucks, I refed advance play at my field all day once just for fun with no payment and I did not get in trouble at all

Is it too hard to go find a ref and ask him to ref the game?

when we play rec if no1 wants to ref then you dont have to on rec days ( every weekend but tourney days ) its mostly jus nubs and all the sponsered players jus work on the field house and the fields and stuff... i mean honestly why do you need a ref to play rec? why would you cheat durign rec..unless like it was some sort of lil competition you were having i guess but bleh me no understand.

Don't flame him for his punctuation mango butter. I would have to say the field sounds pretty lame if you have to wait for a ref. I would just go somewhere else and tell the dads to stfu.

I asked the refs sevral times and told them we were waiting and i allways got "ya, we'll send some1 out soon"

At me and mikes(thread starters) field, yes it is, they are lay and dont give a **** about chronoing/bps/modes

Yea i would have reffed and if the ref acted mad i wouldnt take his bull****..like i would straight up tell him if he would get up off his lazy ass and do his job maybe players wouldnt have to do it for him..and if he trys to kick you out get the manager and if the manager agrees with the ref then just threaten to call the cops :-D

you can not call the cops on a paintball field because hte refs are lazy, You can fill out a report on them at the better business thing, but i doubt someone would look at that before they go to play paintball at a field.
