help with teflon
im a dumbass, i still cant get this to work. im wrapping the threads of my hose up with teflon tape so that it doesnt leak but it still does. its like the tape comes off everytime i screw the hose back in. please help

wrap it in the opposite direction if it keeps coming off. It is hard to explain exactly how to do this...but hold the fitting in your left hand, facing in, and start the tape right in front of you, and go over the top. If that makes any sense, then that should make it the correct direction...

If you cant get the tape to work there is liquid teflon at the hardware store.

Guys dont confuse him. Wrap it the opposite way that you have been wrapping it. If you cant figure it out just go get some blue loctite and seal the threads with that.

Use loc-tite it seals under pressure. Teflon tape is a pain in the @$$. I used loc-tite and let it cure over night and no more leaks. throw that teflon tape away and get some loc-tite. You won't be dissappointed.
