so tomorrow im planning on bringing my girlfriend paintballing for the first time. have any of you done this? if so how did it work out? im scared as **** that we are going to get up there, pay the huge entrance fee and have her decide that she doesnt like it after 2 rounds. any advice? stories? etc?

I go paintballing in a friend of a friends field. We had about 22 people out Saturday for woodsball. Including a little sister, and two wives playing for their first time. Worked out great, but the women blind shoot all the time :P

I assume you play a lot, or are at least proficient?

If so, the one thing you dont want to do, is leave her alone. At least for her first several rounds, be on her team, and stay with (in the woods) or near (Speedball) her.

After she learns the ropes and is having fun, then you turn on the skill and play against her.

haha yeah ill def stay with her for a while...i dunno about playing against her may cause more trouble than its worth you know? shes a tough girl but im still worried about her getting shot once and hating it because it stings. i could be underestimating i guess, i really have no idea what to expect.

whip her with a towel or a skipping rope, if she cries, paintball isn't the right game for her.

Buy her a bag of paint and make her use a rental. That way, it won't be TOO expensive if she doesn't like it.

yeah shes definitely using a rental, and shes gonna pay for herself im broke as hell. its just i dont want to go all the way out there and play one round and have her hate it. and its going to be my last $55 to go play tomorrow so. i dunno well see, how cool would it be for me if she actually got into paintball though? anyone ever actually brought their girlfriend to play?

I took my gf before with 5 of my friends..She got a welt by her nipple.She slapped me.She quit after that.

That was the only time she got hit in the 4 games she played.I kept her protected.I'm surprised she didn't break up with me.Shout out to my gf Lauren!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I forgot to put she was using the Wrath I used to have, while I was using a Custom Pro.

Hopefully your gun won't break while you are out there with her.

Maybe at the least she will support paintball and respect that you won't have all that extra money to spend on her.

Im doing the same thing this weekend on sunday. Im freinds with their whole family so ive already gone with her brother who loved it. We are going to a mostly woodsball feild (a good woods feild). Im letting her shoot my angel while ill be rocking the phantom. Its gonna be an interesting day.

I brought my sister (Josh "paint balls" Beebe's girlfriend) once. She played like 3 games and decided she didnt like playing with my team. She wants to play and have me coach her one day without my team. It's chill cause it only costed 10 bucks.

Mine played once last year and made me buy her a gun...Well that's not entirely true- she paid half. But then she made the mistake of leaving it with me. She should have known fully well that I can't keep my hands off of stuff like that and that it would end up completly different or broken.

Anyway, yea I was going somewhere with this...Somewhere. Hell with it I think my roommate has a pizza cooking.

saturday my female companion.....she doesnt like the title, which doesnt mean she doesnt put out or anything

My wife talked about going, but I don't see it ever happening. Even though she calls my backup, "her" gun. She only likes it cause it looks purple.

yeah that would be really bad if my gun broke when she was there, that would suck a lot. i think i have it all setup now though.

hahah yeah, well she has $$ and hates it when i buy her stuff (really, she does its not just liek fake "dont buy me stuff..oh you shouldnt have, she literally gets angry when i buy her presents) and i bought everything for the first 5 months of the relationship so maybe i can be a total chump now and let her pay for some stuff lolz.

I disagree, They're capable of defending them selves. Let them learn the ropes like any other player would. Defending them will not help them. My girlfreind is really good at paintball and its becouse she wasn't "protected" but was allowed to learn on her own.
