I just had a stroke of genius....

what if somebody created a program to design breakouts for tournies and the program showed weaknesses/showed the breakout happen

and you could show what lanes to cover and lots of really cool stuff like just from a birds eye view......

maybe this is already availble, if so, where??? because it DOES seem like a useful tool if done right

comments?? and can anyone here develop software?????

Not that I know of. But there is a free field builder that you can download. It's 3d and all, and you can pick out lanes and draw out breakouts with it.

It would, perhaps someone will take up the task eventually. Or, next version of this if you like to dream. I would expect to see it make it's way into that program if it's successful.

idk the trial is pretty cool, but with the lack of features its not worth that money, ill wait till they update it

i can do basic software designing, im going to tinker with the idea a bit

i think i can do birds eye view with red and blue circles or whatever, field designer, then make breaks, then face some of ur breaks against others of ur breaks, i think?? it'll take me a while, ill tinker though

I would imagine that pro teams would have game film. We watch game film all the time in football and it realy helps to see for yourself what your doing right or wrong, so ya I agree it could be very helpful, not even a program just a video recorder over the arena would be good enouf.

yea but in football hey have a program that tekks you the oercentageof what plays they do in what situations,

transfer this to paintball like what do they do when ur up 6-4 and they've lost two backmen????

i dont know, but im still working on that thing after and its REALLY hard

sounsd kind of cool. But you would have to make sure u had the dimesnsions of the fiels how far this bunker is from the start at what angle and whatnot

98c- u control the lanes they shoot and if they snap against opponents and stuff

1. No one brings a computer to the field
2. No one is going to create a 3d(as it would have to be) image for the program for every tourney.
3. Lanes on a field layout compared to the actual thing are much different.

i didnt say bring the comp to the field .... plus if u had this and a laptop who knows????

and i was thinking fields could have certain files to download so that u have there field layout on it

well u cud make it a game as well?
like u could give it three options:
League - like a ps football season jsut paintballing(u cud switch players, practice to increase stats, etc..
RecBall-make it like a pickup game choose 7-10 ppl to play with against a random team
Field Play-make a field get inside look at it, etc...

that would be the only way i see it being purchased
