I don't know what people are afraid of? I've never been afraid since the first time I went. If you get hit, you get hit. The way I see it, you are going to get hit at some point during the game. You almost never last until the very end (i usually play woodsball where it's about 20-25 per team), so you might as well go out fighting.

I actually have the opposite problem. I'm too agressive because I don't care about getting shot. I went today and got out early alot (but there were times where I'd take out 3-4 people before I got taken out a few minutes into the game), but that's because I'm usually one of the fastest ones out there and almost always take point and am further up than the rest of my team. I play for fun and as long as I see plenty of action and take at least one person on the other team out before I get shot, then I'm not a liability.

if you cant take a hit then get off the field, if you can take a hit but dont like getting overshot and bunkered, play woodsball..simple as that

I agree with Ryan... mostly cuz when I started playing, it was woodsball behind a friend's hosue and we shot close to 375 FPS

I'm sure that would make alot of people scared of getting hit

nice way to break some ones cheap goggles...
but im more afraid of letting my teammates down than afraid of getting shot. Just play as much as you can and try not to think about the pain.

go buy some paintball pants cuz they have kevlar crotches (bullet proof vests r made of kevlar ) also gets some gloves cuz it hurts like crzy to get shot there

when i play and get hit it feels just like a pinch. like i got lit up in the back last time i played and i didn't flinch. i just walked off the field. so... just hope u dont get hit where it really hurts(im hopin u know where that is). but the rush of adrenaline should over come most of the pain. and if u scared just listen to pump up music to get ur adrenaline goin ahead of time. death metal usually works for me. i like genghis tron.
