Tippmann A-5 or BT-4?? Help
I was hoping i could get some insight on which gun i should choose. The two markers i'm looking at getting are the
(1.)BT-4 Ironhorse with the apex barrell system,
or
(2.) The Tippmann A-5 with a flatline and folding stock.
I will just be playing woods ball with whichever i get, i have a seperate speedball gun. So which do i get????

I've also heard that the internals of the A-5 and BT-4 are the same with the exception of the cyclone, is this true?
And in addition to that i've heard the apex barrel will outshot and be more accurate than the flatline? I'm not interested in the apex being able to curve shots, just looking for longer and more accurate.
How fast i can shot the gun is not a factor for me, neither is the weight of the gun. I just want reliability, accuracy, and range.

a-5
i hate all bt guns
all that extra crap does not help you at all in a game
and dont get a stock, paintballs arent accurate enough to need a stock, btw the tank can be used as a stock

hold on whats your speedball gun
if a gun is good for speedball, then its twice as good for woodsball
no need to drop 200 bucks on another gun

I've got an Evil Omen 2.0 for speedball.
I thought that the flatline and the apex barrel system both did the same thing

Somewhat, but at extended distances the ball will slow down and not bust, so the extra distance doesn't really matter.

to sum it up, use your Omen in the woods too, and spend that money on upgrading it or working to a better speedball gun... any speedball gun you get will do well in the woods, just so long as you don't go with any flashy bright orange or yellow or lime green guns. If you get a second, go to the "rate my marker" forum and look for the digi camo PM5/6 (forgot which one it was) but it was hot
edit: it's a DM5, here's the link Midnight Digi Camo Dm5. Hottest Dm5 ever.

That's one of the most bull**** statement's I've ever read.
Woodsball doesnt' require you to put out alot of paint in a small ammount of time. Nor does it require you to have a marker suitable for speedball.
Just because a marker is good for speedball, doesn't mean it's even better for woodsball. I know plenty of speedball players who have "high end" guns that get their asses handed back to them in woodsball.
Don't expect your equipment to win the game for you. If you suck, you suck. Your gun isn't going to stop that.
