i dont want to ahve to type the whole story about what happened again so ill just give the basics of it.

but anyways long story short, my friend got a wrath ltd and he was begging me to put my palmers male stab on which i said i would trade for the wrath stock reg. so then i end up breaking the wrath steel hose trying to get the steel hose off the reg after we traded and then he decided he didnt want the palmers because his hand got too cold(usin co2). he was angry because he couldnt use the stock asa once i broke the hose because it has smaller threads, even though i had another asa to put on. so he made me take off the palmers and other asa which was working, to put on the stock reg and asa which has no hose and the reg has a hose fitting stuck in it. i said i would fix it for him free of charge for parts and stuff, but then he said his mom was gonna make me buy the gun because its "broken" even though i can get it fixed.

now as it lays, i have to buy the gun for 215$ according to him or his moms gonna make me pay 240 for it. i dont think this is fair and i need some points that help me defend myself so i dont have to buy the whole gun, and plus i know that she cant make me legally buy the gun right?.

and ps: i dont have the money to buy it now and i prolly wont for a month or 2 so its not like i can say 'sure bring it next time we play and ill give you your filthy 215$ for it'.

Seems kinda lame, honestly.

He wanted the new reg, and he should have been happy to get a stabilizer in a trade for a stock reg. They're not exactly cheap regs.

Legally I have no idea. But that doesn't matter because it will come down to a "My mommy says" type of situation. Have your parents deal with his parents.

yeah your parents will do a much better job with this kind of thing that you can most of the time... but make sure your parents understand what they are talking about. If they don't know what's going on, then they can really mess it up for you.

today i was talking with to him and he wants me to fix it and if i dont then i have to buy it. so im gonna order the hose tonight and then have him give me the reg and hope i can fix it. he said if i cant get the fitting off the reg then i have to buy him a new reg like the wrath, so a torpedo or if i can find a stock one. i think it was his mom that said i have to buy it but he wants me to fix it or hes getting a new gun.

so ill see how everything goes with fixing it, but if i buy it ill prolly end up selling it seeing as how i already have an ion.

i dont use the stab anymore and its just been sitting in my closet. i thought id just be nice and trade seeing as how he had co2 and plus i like the looks of the wrath reg a lot more.

and i guess things are being sorted out. im going to get the hose and possibly a new reg if i cant get the fitting off the other wrath reg, plus i did scratch it a bit. he wanted me to buy it because, what he didnt tell me b4 is he didnt like the gun because it chops, but the regs arent set right, and he doesnt like the stock trigger but hes going to try a magnet mod. he said hed be happy with it and want to keep it after i fix the hose if i got it to stop chopping and working good. so now i dont have to buy it!!

You just make sure you refuse to help at all with the magnet mod. Don't even acknowledge that he's going to try it. Then if he doesn't like that he won't be able to pin it on you.

im not helping him with it, i just gave him the link to the guide. im not doing any work on anybody's gun unless they sign a thing that says i am not responsible if something may go wrong or something like that

i just had to order a new reg and hose for him so i spent 90$ which sucks because i actually owe my dad $10 now and i have no money left over for anything, but i guess it is better than 215 he was gonna make me buy the gun for. either way you look at it though it sucks. ill be sure to bonus ball him this saturday

Unless both parties are over 18, as far as I know, their contracts are not legally binding unless their parents co-sign.

Cancel the order. Give your jerk of a friend back his reg. Tell him to never show his face around you again or he's going to be losing teeth. End of story. And if you're nice which it seems you are. You need to quit being so nice. Then take it to a machine shop so you don't bugger it. Let them remove the fitting. Then put the new one in and tell you friend that he's lucky you don't kick his butt.

dude, that really sucks - i wouldn't even give him a link to something to help him with that stuff... and just give him the things and dont help him put them on - he doesn't deserve it. if he's going to put that kind of thing on you he really doesn't need the help.

i do doubt that his mom could legally make you pay for a new marker - and if you explained the situation to her, i'm sure she'd be reasonable... but like torch said 'Don't even acknowledge that he's going to try anything else.' you helped him and he screwed you out of $90... that's a t-board w/membrane and shipping for your ion. blah - what a jerk.

well im pissed now because i dont have any money and he says if its not here by saturday then hes using my ion which is a no freakin way. so i hope it doesnt get here by saturday in which case im going to send it back or something and say it never came or whatever. ill get the hose but im not giving him the reg i ordered. im just going to get a stock wrath reg off PBN or fix the old one. hes being such a *** about it that he doesnt deserve a brand new torpedo without paying for it.

i dont care if his gun doesnt work because he wanted me to put on the palmers and i broke just the hose and he says that i broke the gun, but as far as im concerned, a broken hose does not make a gun broken. i made it usable too but he didnt like the parts that i had that made it work so **** him
