History:

I joined this forum in 2002 under a different name (Power_House406) and I used to post here all the time. I played tournament paintball for about 3 years, then due to back-to-back foot surgeries, I had to stop and never really got into it again.

Now:

I have found a team that is going to play D3 next year, and they want me to play for them. (Some how after not playing for over a year I didn't lose too much of my ability) The problem is I don't have any of my old stuff, so I'll be getting all new stuff. My last gun was an Alias, and I loved it. I assume though that there is better stuff out now, so if you could help me out by telling me whats good these days (guns, tanks, masks, hoppers), It would be very appreciated.

gun: 06 cyborg or wait for 07s
hopper: Halo B with shocktech hot rod kit and cheatah board
Tank: 70/45 crossfire

I guess I should just say which gun, because I know I like 68/4500's, Halo B's, and Profiler's or Proflex's. So which gun is the hot **** right now? I'm not going to shoot a Cyborg.

dm6, ego6, the new line of shockers, bob long onyx, there are tons of options you can go for. i personally am in love with the feel of egos.. but thats my preference.

Some hot guns right now are: DM6,EG06, and the Bob Long Onyx. If you want to get a new gun though I'd wait until after World Cup and get a DM7 or EG07.

If you liked yuor alias, the 06 Ego is a great gun. Kind of like a timmy, except a lot nicer in my opinion. For a hopper, the VLocity is pretty sick. I just picked one up for my ego. SOOO light, fast, and holds more than a halo does.

I'd go with the PM7 (Proto Matrix M7), it's coming out in a week. It'll be great for what you need, and it won't be as expensive, and as an added bonus, you wont lose as much money if you decide you don't want to play.

Saw pics of the PM7. It was absoloutely HORRIBLE. It was literall a pm6 minus about a half an inch heightwise. Everything else the same. I was dissapointed.

Get on a pball site n' look around at guns. Pick a couple that jump out at you, n' then narrow it down from there.

That was the PR mod, you were supposed to make a connection between 2 points on the board.. that would fry your board if you let it run to long without paint..
