I don't think it's possible for paintball to effect geography.

Paintball can only negatively affect the geography of a region, it can cause contamination of water supply, unnatural erosion, and can ruin a local ecosystem...

SC Village has contaminated the water around Corona, the paint has seeped into the groundwater, although it is non-toxic it is still a contaminant.

We cut down trees to make air ball feilds causing a lack of oxygen. We take wooded areas which are home to animals a run them out. Both bad. sorry cant help you there.

ok so i emailed my teacher and heres what she said
Well, there are some human activites that don't positively impact the
environment/geography of the PNW, and paintballing is probably one of
those activities. So, why don't you answer that question saying that you
don't think there ARE any positive benefits of paintballing--maybe some
thoughts on whether we should continue the activity, or how we can make it
less destructive. In this case, just use your own thinking...you don't
need to do any research!
so, anyone have any ideas on how to make paintball less destructive???
thanks

could you mabey change the focus of your paintball project? It seems you might be at a lack for information on this specific aspect of paintball.

Well lets see:
1. Change the material that paintballs are made of to make it 100% safe no contaminates
2. Have a EPA(environmental protection agency) regulate and monitor outdoor paintball fields for land use and compliance ect.
these are just ideas for your paper not something i want to see happen.
