If your playing teams, and his team mates know hes not calling himself out, just tell them when he does, it, to start tk'ing :P (team mates shoot him)
Or, you know.. just don't invite him. My group plays to have fun, and anyone who shows up doesn't want to be fair, its no fun and we don't need them. My group is pretty honorable in that even if we get hit, and the paint doesn't explode, we still call it, cause.. We still felt it. We know we got hit.

humm... there seems to be a pattern here.
send him extra love and he'll leave. or just get a temper and start getting pissed off...
i know a better way to get him out - volunteer to ref for a few rounds and watch him. bam its done.
that also doesn't involve any bad sportsmanship from you or your party and it'll promote him to play safer and etc...

just keep shooting till he walks off. or shoot him in the mask because then theres really no point in staying on the field cause you cant see anyway.

ditto, can't argue your hit ot not with a goggle full of paint
i hate when you reach out and nab someone and they try and wipe it off and act like they were not hit, i always aim for goggles or hands anyhow because the goggle thing is hard to argue and the hand hits just plain suck, at our field gun hits are ok but hands are not so i always try and make sure i hit the hands, of course they always try to say its a gun hit but......... the refs are pretty good at spotting true hand hits and dont let em get away with it

gun hits are outs anyway
i dont know why all of you think it's ok to cheat and overshoot 'cause someone else is cheating.

If your just playing with friends, its an eye for an eye. If its something more official, then i agree a ref is best.
I prefer the "just don't invite him" tac too. If you know someone cheats, why bother with him. You don't need 1 more person bad enough to let a known cheater play.

Overshooting isn't cheating (although I hate to resort to that) it's getting the point across. Malicous overshooting (overshooting with intent to cause harm) is an entirely different story. If he decides that one ball isn't enough to get him out, then maybe you don't let up on the trigger so early next time. Attempting to cause injury is different entirely.

I don't why you think its ok to use a stupid font.
Cheating is worse than bonus balling. You shot them the first time and they were a dick and played on. They'll learn their lesson through pain.

If he gets hit and doesn't call himself out, chase him around with a paint roller, they're under $5 at Home Depot. If he won't admit he's out after a few splats, a foot-wide stripe down his back might change his mind (of course, you should use washable paint unless he's wearing crappy old clothes.)

i like the way you think perhaps some of the tippmann squadbusters are in order? that would be interesting to throw in the middle of a speedball round

i don't know why you dont use a different font. what does it even matter if my font is dif. ...get over it.
btw bonus-balling/overshooting can get you suspensions in leagues so it is cheating and i wouldn't condone that kind of behavior - btw have you ever been shot maliciously with the intent to hurt you? (even if it's so you'll get off the field 'cause you're cheating) 'cause you must not have if you believe that pain is just what it does.
usually, in my experience as a ref they start to shoot back really quick.
how about this - be responsible, do what you would want done to you. if you dont mind getting shot 35 extra times 'cause you cheated, then go right ahead. but if not, then dont cheat - and dont overshoot him.
or ya know - just dont invite him. if you need extra players find someone else.

Is he even talking about a league? I don't think we know. I appreciate your stance on this but your taking from a point of view that its something official where cheating matters. He stated he played in a lax field, which told me it was just them playing out of fun. No league, no tourney or anything of that nature.
Thats about all I play is weekend get together's. Which means no official rules, no refs' no league stances, nothing like that. If this is the type of game he is talking about, telling him about suspensions and cheating doesn't mean squat.
That aside, I do agree with your last statement where if he is a problem, then he shouldn't be invited to play.

Or if you're dynasty then playing on and overshooting will win you a game. Or if you're Chris LaSoya it'll bring you more fans. I don't cheat. But I do overshoot when people cheat. These obviously aren't "League games". If someone gets away with wiping in a tourny then the refs aren't going to be good enough to get you for overshooting.
See my intent is not to hurt the other player (hurt, well paintballs hurt, but I don't like injuring people), my intent is to put them in the deadbox, if the first shot didn't get him, you better bet there'll be more where that came from.
If you've played with me you know I'm not an asshole when I shoot people. If I overshoot someone on accident the first thing I say is "Sorry, sorry!". If you wiped I'll just laugh.
"Shot maliciously with the intent to hurt you" I like that. After hearing the refs at NPPL I loved it. Never anywhere have seen so much bull, the lies actually entertained me.
Yes I've been shot a lot, thats part of paintball and I get over it. I've played on a couple seconds after a ball broke and I got shot some more. I deserved every bit of it. If a player on the other team is doing a runthrough on your team you don't shoot him once and hope the refs see and he leaves the field. You shoot him until he stops running. No more, no less.

Well when I play, every round one person who needs to clean their gear, or fill their hopper or something is designated to be a ref. Everyone takes turn reffing. People are honest but sometimes someone will try to play on or wipe. Everyone else though will notice it and relist their priorities. The cheater will be #1. He will take enough balls to call himself out, or I call him out, and if he argues when it's obvious he gets shot more.

whenever we play we usually play with the people who are honest(wich is just about everyone, there are only 1-2 people that wipe/play on, bobby included(he only plays on because he isn't gonna take the time to check a hit) but we usualyl play honest ofr the most part.
