I recently bought a spyder vs3 and I would like to make it my backup gun.
I was wondering what type of marker I should get price range (350-600).

wow there is a lot in that price range. Shoot many types of markers at your local field and see what you like best. But look into the new proto rail or the invert mini. Also, do you have compressed air and a fast feeding hopper?

I'd suggest an ICD promaster, or a used freestyle, some people don't like ICD guns, but I have a couple and I love them

you might as well buy a sft for $50 more.
You can go a lot of places with $600(if you have a hopper and air already), going into the used guns will open your selection even more.
Go to your shop and check out everything they got.

liek a few others have said try out a few peoples guns and see what you like, just don't shoot one and decide on that one, shoot a few more before you decide on that gun. look for an e-tek they shoot rpetty nice from my experiences.

I wouldn't buy used, you never know what your getting. You should look into the Proto Rail of the Invert Mini and then buy a nice hopper and air tank.

seing as how they are both new guns and the mini isnt out yet, wait and see how they eprform to see if you like them, the mini looks nice but im expecting at least one little bug in it.

yes, many new guns, especially from new companies can have bugs and many things can go wrong with it.

why dont u oplay with ur spyder for a while if u just got it. You are not going to be a better player just by getting a better gun. So use the spyder, its fine for now, and practice practice practice. And in the meantime hold and shoot other guns and then u'll know what u want. But if you want my opiniop I'd say go for a used DM or shocker

I've got a halo v35 feeder with rd, and a fiber wrapped compressed air tank. I like the look of the first endeavor quest guns. Anyone have any info on those?

I'm sure there are stock shockers going for $350ish locally.

If you're buying new, I'd look into getting SFTs at wholesale prices (some wholesalers are clearing out for the NXTs), or look into getting a PM6 at wholesale. Also look into the Minis and Rails when they come out.

If you're going used, you have a huge selection. Borgs are currently dipping low and they're great guns, so are shockers, PM6s, DM4s/DM5s, etc.

If you aren't going to be playing much more this winter, I'd strongly suggest living stringly, and looking around for a guy that knows a guy, b/c there are quite a few peopel out there that can get you really nice discounts on pretty high level guns, such as ego6s, dm6s, etc.
