I just got back into paintball and picked up a spyder pilot. 107.99 on action village.com It's not the best gun in the world, but pretty good for the price range you are in.

for that amount of money i would go with a tippmann 98 custom. some people will say spyders but i personally dont like them.

yeah go with the evo, same functions as a spyder but with break beam eyes, and they will hold up better then any spyder. the vs3 /2 might have it beat but not for 230 bucks.

a 98 is a good starter.. If you know someone that is pretty handy adjusting/fixing and you don't mind getting something used....keep an eye open around ebay. A lot of good deals pop up. For that price range you can also get an Autococker Trilogy... or an older mechanical cocker. Hell...if i were you...i'd keep my eye open on a deal for a sniper2. Playing some pump will help improve your game too.

i would suggest either an e-spyder or a tippy to start with. dont forget, you will need a c02 tank, and if you get an espyder, a decent electric hopper. lol and dont forget to save some money to play with
