Sliding on carpet
Hey, I'm looking for some kind of product that I can put on carpet, that will allow us to slide in our paintball gear. We are making a reball feild. It needs to be water soluble, and have a pleasant/no odor.
Normal indoor feild are just have paint on the floors, we don't want that. We are using reballs.
OR, we are looking for something (not lube) to put on our knees/elbows.
Thanks for any suggestions.

uh...just slide normally on the carpet? You don't need any "lube"
Only thing is it will **** up your gear alot faster..but that happens even when there is paint on the ground.

Yeah, you can't put an "lube" on your gear.... Slide as is, it'd be kinda like sliding on dry grass, but not.

i don't think you're going to finda way to slide on carpet without some sort of lube. maybe you coule wet downt eh carpet or something(couse then it would probally get moldy quick)

except that knee pads dont make you slide any better especially since they are worn underneath your pants. Knee pads are only there for padding.

lol, wal mart doesnt sell astro-turf. do you even know what astro-turf is? Ive played on it in H.S. football, and im pretty sure its not something you can buy from walmart. Astroturf is like plastic threads, and then packed into it is little pieces of black rubber that act as a cushion, like dirt. you can buy that ****ty short carpet stuff for basements, or that plastic crap they use on those indoor putting practice things...

Because you don't understand that an astro-turf field would cost tens or thousands of dollars, and he wouldn't be asking about cheap alternatives if he had that much money...

one of the football teams we played had an astro-turf field...it set them back $300,000, just for the field.

I stand corrected, make that hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Don't make it a reball field. Use thick, durable carpeting. The paint on the carpet will make you slide further.

Ya. We already have the reballs
As for all the doubters, we need to do something. We tryed every type of slide, nothing works. The carpet is really "sticky." I rug burned my elbows/forearms bad, from one attempt. Friend went for back right, tumbled, and smaked his head in the wall. It's not like he's a n00b, either. You just kinda stop.
I thought maybe bar soap. Like, by packs of them in bulk, crush/chop up, and stomp on it. As long as we got a mild smelling one, I think it would work. It would wash out of clothes too.
