I had an Xtra, still have it omewhere. You might be better upgrading to an Imagine or something. For hoppers i wouldnt worry about it with an Xtra cause you cant outshoot a gravity feed. If you wan t a nice barrel, CP 1 peice barrels are only $40 and they are really nice best blend of value and performance. If your really bent on gettin g a hopper a revolution or evolution hopper from VL may be what your looking for.

A new hopper is always a good upgrade because its something you can carry forward to a new gun.

That being said you don't really want to do a lot of upgrading to a gun like a Spyder Xtra (I have one as well btw) because for the money you put into it you aren't going to see the kind of results you are most likely looking for. You also aren't going to get your money back on upgrades that you buy for a gun like a Spyder Xtra.

Your best bet is to either save your money for a better gun or buy upgrades that aren't marker specific, like a hopper.

Enjoy your Spyder but don't make a big investment in it, its not an expensive gun for a reason.

Instead of this, I would reccomend going ahead and going for broke on the hopper, and get a Halo B. You can use that hopper for every other gun you'll ever buy, and never outshoot it. I wouldn't do anything to this gun that you couldn't put on a new gun someday, High Pressure Air should be the second upgrade, that and the hopper the top two.

in my opinion, i'd keep what you got, and save your money for an HPA tank, and then a nice new marker, you can pick up pm5's and the like for 3-400 used, and they rip... your only problem with upgrading to something like that would be knowledge of the marker.. you have to know how to take care of something higher end before you go shooting ropes with it. if you have any ?'s about your spyder, feel free to pm me, and i'll be glad to help
