Deciding second gun

Well I had a ION for my first gun, and thinking about getting a $400 gun. I might do tourney in a couple of months if I can find a team near me. So should I get a protorail or a ephiphany.

i can't stand SP. therefore, I vote the Rail.

however, it's worth looking ingot a DM4/5. They sell for around $400 if you look hard enough.

Honestly, I say neither. The Epiphany IS an Ion. the PMR isn't much of an upgrade. Save up an extra $100 or so and try to get a used PM6. Or, get a used PM5 and spend around $100 upgrading it.

Within this last year and all the new models, alot of the great high end guns have been made more than affordable. Mildly upped, non ULed PM5s are going for less than $300

PMR by far. But i'd say PM6>PMR>PM5>Epiphany. Epiphany would be a waste of money.

I've talked to a guy that ownes a shop and he's owned all three and put them in that order. the PM5 is so much heavier than the PMR and otherwise they're pretty much the same thing.

PMR has alot of plastic parts. I don't like the feeling of plastic parts, true it feels light. It also feels cheap and fragile.

If you were going to go for the epiphany i would tell you to dump the 400 on the ion you have now and youlld come out with the same thing, but with superior parts.
